Nanjing Municipal Medical Insurance Settlement Administrative Center announced recently that it has started publishing retail prices of drug products sold in all of its designated retail pharmacies on the internet at www.njlss.gov.cn. The practice is currently under the trial phase, the center said.

When a product name is entered at the website, prices of the product in all designated retail pharmacies will be listed side by side. For example, the product name of “Glucobay” returned more than 70 results and the prices by different retail pharmacies range from CNY 64 to CNY 82.5.
