At a recent government teleconference, Mu Hong, Vice Minister of NDRC, told the officials that the agency will work with other government agencies in the stockpiling and distribution of vaccines under the state immunization program in accordance with the annual plan from the Ministry of Health.

NDRC said it will set ex-manufacturer prices for vaccines covered under the state immunization program with consideration government fiscal "affordability" and the health departments will purchase such vaccines from manufacturers at government-fixed ex-manufacturer prices.
