    • Shanghai LeadDiscovery Pharmaceutical Co Ltd (LD) was established in November 2002, mainly dedicating to designing, screening, synthesizing of lead compound for the novel drugs and providing relevant services. It could provide these services: Biological Screening, Drug Screening in Animal Model and Pharmacological Study, Pharmaceutical Raw Material Medicine and Intermediates Manufacture, Analysis Center, Gene engineering technology services.

     

    The origin of LD was Shanghai Joint Laboratory of innovation drugs. There are three sponsors founded this laboratory in December 2000. Including Drug Discovery and Design Center (DDDC) of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Shanghai Fudan-Zhangjiang Bio-pharmaceutical Co Ltd (FD-ZJ) and Shanghai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In November 2002, Shanghai Science Investment Co., Ltd. joined in the investment group and became one of LD's share-holders.

     

    Its subsidiary Shanghai LeadChem Co Ltd is a professional enterprise engaged in researching, developing, synthesizing, and manufacturing pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. It also provides custom synthesis service.
